The Texas After Violence Project training series (mandatory for all except for extremely short-term volunteers performing solely administrative tasks) typically takes place on Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Texas After Violence Project office.

The training consists of eight sessions required for all volunteers, students, and interns, and a ninth session required only for those people who wish to help process interviews for posting at the Human Rights Documentation Initiative (HRDI):

Nuts and bolts: Technical processing of interviews for posting on HRDI - TAVP staff

The order of these sessions varies depending on the availability of guest presenters. See our syllabus in progress.
