![]() August 18, 2009 update: We have just received a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service, which has found that the Texas After Violence Project is a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Texas After Violence Project are tax-deductible. Such contributions already were deductible, but they went through our fiscal sponsor, the Austin Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation. Austin Community Foundation is the fiscal sponsor of the Texas After Violence Project. All donations to the Texas After Violence Project that go through the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Texas After Violence Project is also a member of Greenlights for Nonprofit Success and I Live Here I Give Here, Central Texas' Campaign for Philanthropy. Here are three ways to donate to the Texas After Violence Project today. 1. Authorize an automatic monthly bank withdrawal 2. Donate online. Please click here to Make a Donation. You'll need to select the Texas After Violence Project Fund from the drop-down menu under "Category" before you enter the amount that you wish to donate. 3. Mail us a check.
