Jorge Antonio RenaudJorge Antonio Renaud is a poet, writer, and consultant on criminal justice issues for family members and friends of people who are currently incarcerated in Texas. He brings the hard-earned knowledge of someone who spent seventeen years in the prison system, an understanding of the history of criminal justice in Texas, and an insistence on personal accountability to his work. Mr. Renaud has participated in training new interns and volunteers, and has also transcribed for the Texas After Violence Project. Currently revising his book, Behind the Walls: A Guide for Family and Friends of Texas Inmates, Renaud is also the author of Parole Packets: What to Say and How to Say It. |
