Do we have ethical responsibilities to "the work," itself? To a particular vision of social justice?

If we do have a responsibility, is it an aggregate of other responsibilities, or something apart from those other responsibilities?

We try to be responsible to the project of listening to many perspectives by making our protocols and processes transparent (see "Praxis") and replicable. We want other people to learn from our work, adapt our methods, and make improvements --- work more effectively than we do.
