Emmanuel Tomes hails from San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from St. Edward’s University with degrees in Political Science and History. While in school, Emmanuel served as the faculty and staff outreach coordinator for the Kozmetsky Center of Excellence in Global Finance. At the Kozmetsky Center, he helped develop relationships between the center and institutions with international expertise, such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Inter-American Dialogue, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Mr. Tomes has also interned at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, where he researched education and fiscal policy as well as other topics. He has twice published in St. Edward’s Arete and J-Source Journals and is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society. Mr. Tomes plans to enter an MBA program in the fall of 2010.
