Sabina Hinz-Foley, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has mostly grown up in Austin but has also lived in Germany and Panama. A fluent speaker of Spanish and German, Sabina brings a broad perspective to the project. In addition to working with us, Sabina works as a life guard, manager, and Spanish teacher at the North Park Branch of the Austin YMCA. She has also worked as swimming pool manager and lifeguard for the City of Austin. Sabina is a committed member of the Inside Books collective. She attended the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy in Austin and high school in Panama before transferring to McCallum High School, from which she recently graduated. Sabina plans to enter the University of Texas at Austin in August, 2009.
